Recomendations
A well-turned out businessman should have at least 24 high-quality shirts, minimum. Most days he requires at least two changes, one for work at the office and one for evening engagements. Add to that those shirts in the laundry plus weekend needs.
A quality shirt will likely be worn 25 times a year and should remain fresh, crisp and serviceable for up to 70 wearing.
Never use commercial laundries for quality shirts and never subject a custom-made shirt to starch. The ingredients in laundry starch can quickly make the collar bubble.
Your fine quality garment should be washed separately from other garments and then pressed while damp.
